Torrent has seeds but wont download

 · xsketchx Member. Hi, that's down to the Torrent and the Seeds, not really Azures itself - Basically, I download Torrents usually with + seeds, and I get connected to atleast that many However, when it's below and all the seeds and leeches are really slow, then you won't get much of a look in. Consider from downloading somewhere else.  · In this case, all of them are FAKE Seeders/Torrents possibly. So no one can download from them. OR original uploader may not start seeding in this time FAKE Seeders/Torrents: For example, an automated bot send a request to tracker(s) say HEY, my torrent completed., so that the tracker will mark my information to database and update the peers list.  · Sorry to say, but there are many selfish and mean people.. So this might cause slow/no downloading. Also you might have no connected peers to get files from. You can check this: uTorrent shows 2 numbers for seeds/peers, for example 5(46) which means there are 46 seeds/peers, but only 5 are connected (and can upload files to you).

Just as you said Coy it just won't connect to peers, in fact mine won't even recognise that there are seeders available, even for torrents that have thousands of seeders. I tried uTorrent to compare and found that in uTorrent for the exact same download I would have seeders however when using Bit Torrent there would be apparently no seeders and. xsketchx Member. Slow torrents caused by: Throttling In order to throttle your torrent traffic, your Internet Provider has to be able to: Read your data stream and see that you're downloading torrents; Separate your torrent traffic and slow it down without affecting other download speeds; When you use a VPN, your ISP can't do either of these things.

Actually, also if you happen to be using BitComet as your Torrent Client then there is also a feature in that called ‘Long Term Seeding’ which allows all of your (inactive) non seeding completed torrent downloads to still continue to remain available (obtainable) to other BitComet users (only) to download from you regardless, using whatever amount of spare uploading bandwidth you have available!. Hi, I'm a bit of a newbie with all of this, so my attempts at googling a solution to my problem has come up with naught. Two days ago, all of the torrents I currently have "added" to deluge (about twenty) stopped downloading, even though there appeared to be seeders available (in the seeders collumn it says "0 (15)" for example). xsketchx Member.
